For specification of the ASCII output format. Possible
options are
- SHORT WITH WAVEFORM - First
4 lines are general information of the export: the sampling frequency,
the number of values which is saved for the signal waveform of each
spike, the total number of electrodes/ active channels in the file,
and a line with header information for the following data. Each individual
spike is exported in one line. First column holds the unit identifier (e.g. 42.3
means unit 3 recorded on electrode 42; the unit identifier ``0''
is used for unsorted data), second column hold its time stamp (in
seconds). All other columns in the line hold the signal waveform of
the spike (in mV).
- SHORT - first 4 lines hold
the general data file information as described before. The data is
stored in 2 columns: first holds the unit identifier of the spike
(in seconds), second column holds its time stamp
- EXTENDED - an ASCII format
output which is included for ``historical'' reasons, because it
is use by some propriate analysis script in out laboratory. Beware
that this file format is highly redundant and the resulting files
are becoming HUGE!
Definitions in this part of the GUI are used for the
export of single files using the Export ASCII-button, as well as for
the export of all files in a selected directory.
